MOMENTS

Sometimes when things are changing...you have moments that you have to stop and experience for what they are.

We have had a few moments during this time of transition that have been emotional and a bit difficult...

A tearful moment.

....saying goodbye to great friends. Holding them in an embrace, saying so many things and yet no words at all for all that was experienced and all that happened in 2 full years of being each other's support system.

A painful moment.

...toasting one another with sparkling cider that was purchased to celebrate a pregnancy that never happened.

An exhausting moment.

...cleaning out every closet, drawer, and item in our home making sure that it is in the right room for the packers, while at the same time weighing it's importance in our life to make another move.

At the same time we have also had moments that have filled us with a complete abundance of joy.

A blissful moment.

...having someone clean our home on the last day so that the burden of one final oven clean-out, vacuum and mop job is lifted.

A God-given moment.

...sharing a smile and a laugh across from one another as we sit at our camp table eating pizza and drinking wine in plastic cups in the glow of the candlelight.

A surreal moment.

...one last evening walk with our dog through our neighborhood.

We have experienced so many moments during our time in Wichita Falls and as we prepare to leave here we are blessed with the knowledge that we will have many more moments--joyful and difficult--ahead of us....and for that we are thankful.
