A SUNDAY in COPENHAGEN

Sunday was our last full day in Europe.  We all got up and headed out into the city to shop, explore, and eat!  We stopped into The Laundry Cafe for brunch.  The others had the most amazing breakfast platters with pancakes, yogurt, fruit, sausage, eggs and to-die-for smoothies while I enjoyed a salad and some french fries (take note: after a late night out, french fries are really great to get you back on your a-game).
We then spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the gorgeous sights of Copenhagen.  David and I seized the opportunity to drink in this amazing city....the sights, the buildings, the people, and drinking beer at tables lining the streets...it was the perfect afternoon to finish off our perfect vacation.
Monday morning.  We somberly walked to the train, rode to the airport, and boarded our flight back to Texas. Saying goodbye to our friends was the hardest thing in the world.  Leaving nine days of blissful relaxation to return to a long list of new things and multiple unknowns, was excruciating...but we are lucky that we will always have the memories from our most perfect and wonderful vacation to date.
